2023 Virginia State Fair

Our string survived the hurricane at State Fair this year and came home with a number of awards. Trey placed 4th overall in the State Jr. Dairymen's contest and was on the 5th place overall junior team. Trey won Jr Champion Jersey with Georgia, Jr. Champion Brown Swiss with Twizzler, and finally Grand Champion Brown Swiss and Supreme Champion overall with Twist. 

2023 All-American Dairy Show

This year Trey placed 3rd with Twist in the PNJS Brown Swiss Show and earned Best Bred & Owned Sr 2 in the open show with her. Hayley placed 3rd with Peony and 6th with Kadence in the PNJS Holstein Show and 3rd with Mary in the PNJS Red and White Show as well. Hayley also represented SDSU during the week with at their booth and helping with the open shows. Both kids enjoyed attending All-American again to meet up with old friends and make new memories.

2023 Rockingham County Fair

This year was very successful for Trey and his assortment of animals. On the dairy side, Trey won Grand Champion Brown Swiss with Twist, Junior Champion Jersey with Georgia, and Reserve Junior Champion Red and White with Mary. This was the first year for dairy feeder steers at the fair and Trey had a solid showing. Outside of dairy, Trey won Intermediate Chicken Showmanship and won Best of Breed with his Netherland Dwarfs. He also sold 1 market boer goat.  

2023 Virginia Summer Showdown

We had a very successful showing at this years Virginia Summer Showdown. STOX Dairy was honored to have won Premier Breeder and Exhibitor and first place Breeders Herd and Best Three Females of the Holstein show. Hayley won Grand Champion of the Junior and Open Holstein show with Kadence. Trey won Reserve Grand Champion of the Junior Brown Swiss show with Twist.   

2023 National Holstein Convention

We had a lot of fun in Lexington, KY.  Trey was the winner of the Junior Dairy Jeopardy Contest. Hayley was a part of the Senior Dairy Bowl team that placed 3rd overall. Trey also had a folding display that placed 2nd. We went on tours to learn about Lexington's rich history of horse racing and bourbon making.
