Welcome to Stox Dairy!
We are the Daubert Family! We own a small dairy hobby farm in Dayton, VA, nestled in the Shenandoah Valley of Virginia. Currently, we own about 30 head of cattle. Recently we have started calving some of our cows at our house, and milking them too! In addition to our dairy cattle, we own various other species at any one time including goats, pigs, rabbits, chickens, and steers. We are very active in showing at the Virginia Spring and Summer Shows, Virginia State Fair, Rockingham County Fair, the All-American Dairy Show, and the NC Spring Dairy Show!
Meet our Family Members!
Jeremy Daubert works as the Dairy Extension Agent in Rockingham County and the surrounding areas. He is in charge of coaching all of the Rockingham County 4-H Dairy programs such as Dairy Judging, Jr. Dairymen's, and and being an advisor for the Rockingham County 4-H Dairy Club. He also works tirelessly at managing our hobby farm at home.
Becky Daubert works as a Credit Analyst at the Verona operations office for Farm Credit of Virginias. She also is the Secretary/ Treasurer and Junior Advisor for the Virginia Holstein Association. She is in charge of coaching the Rockingham County 4-H Dairy Bowl team, Holstein Dairy Jeopardy, and Holstein Dairy Quiz Bowl for Virginia. She also gives her limited free time to helping run our household.
Hayley Daubert, 20, will graduate from South Dakota State University this year with a B.S. in Dairy Manufacturing. She is involved in SDSU Dairy Club as the vice president, and is on the Cheese Box Committee. She was recently named Midwest Regional Secretary/Treasurer for ADSA-USD. Hayley is also the vice president of the SDSU Emergency Medical Services Club, and is the fundraising chair for the Virginia Junior Holstein Association. Hayley completed a Food Safety internship at Sargento in Sheboygan, WI, this summer. She also currently works as a dispatcher for the University Police Department.
Trey Daubert is a 14-year-old freshman at Turner Ashby High School. He is currently active in the Rockingham 4-H Dairy Club as the treasurer and participates in Dairy Quiz Bowl, Jr. Dairymen's, Dairy Skillathon, and Dairy Judging through 4-H. He is also involved with the TAHS FFA Chapter. He is serving as a board director and on the Junior Raffle Committee for the Virginia Junior Holstein Association and participates in Dairy Bowl, Dairy Jeopardy, and Public Speaking. He also participates in cross country, wrestling, and track.
